Laughter

This weekend we spent time with several groups of friends. We hosted a 'wild game feast' on SAturday, featuring the deer, pheasant & dove Keith killed. It was a big hit! I was sitting in our living room, when I was struck with the most deafening roars of laughter from the front room that I have ever heard. Right there, it struck me just how rich we truly are. We had a house full of laughter, friends and Christmas spirit. Who can ask for more?

Sunday we finished up our Christmas shopping before heading to my dear friend, Michelle's, 32nd birthday supper in Speedway. She has a huge group of friends and family that gather every year in her honor to celebrate. She has 2 beautiful daughters who, along with the 5 other kids at the party, filled the banquet room with a different type of laughter. Kid laughter fills your heart and makes you smile from the inside. It is very unique. It is carefree.

A weekend filled with laughter is what I hope for all my friends, near and far. This weekend my family will travel to Florida to spend the holidays with Kel, John, Kevin & baby Peanut. After that, its on to Christmas and New Years. May the rest of your year be filled with all the laughter you can handle!
